American Suzuki Motor Corporation has issued a recall for certain model year 2012 Scooters and motorcycles manufactured before December 17, 2011. The reason for the recall is because the lever mounted brake switches may fail. The scooters and motorcycles involved in the recall are the AN400, AN650 and DL650. Failure of the brake switch will prevent the AN400 and AN650 models from strating. On all affected models, failure of the switch may cause the brake lights to not illuminate when the scooter or motorcycle is braking, increasing the risk of crash and injury from a trailing vehicle.
